For the second year running Yell, the international directories company and horsesmouth.co.uk are celebrating small business and enterprise mentoring with the Yell Mentoring Works Awards. These awards are specifically for registered mentors on the horsesmouth site - so thousands of people are eligible.
There are 3 awards: The Yell Mentor of the Year Award for mentoring - with a £1000 prize; the Editor's Award for the best piece of content published on the site, with a £500 prize, and the M Factor Award for the business mentor with the highest M Factor on the site, with another £500 prize.
So, this is your chance to thank someone on horsesmouth whose words of wisdom gave you the right encouragement at the right time; or provided that vital piece of information or invaluable resource, or the person who has helped mentor you through a difficult choice or challenge. Or if you think that wise person is you and you'd like to get some more kudos for your efforts - you can nominate yourself and your own stories and pearls.

I have been mentoring on HM for 18 months. I really enjoy it & hopefully I am helping other people. Recently I posted my my first 'request for a mentor'. I have been completely bowled over by the response. So many people taking their time & making the effort to offer constructive advice in a friendly polite manner. For me it completely validates the intent behind HM. It reminds me how many good, helpful people there are out there. Thanks for providing such a great service.
