Awards Information
Nominations
Any mentor with the yellow 'nominate me' button on their profile can be nominated. Registered Horsesmouth users can nominate as many mentors as they like, including themselves. Nominations will close at midnight on 31st december 2010.
Prizes
The Yell Mentoring Works Award competition winner will receive a top of the range iPad and case, with two other mentors receiving £500 special recommendation prizes; so think carefully about who you're nominating and why they deserve to win!
Judging
A panel of judges will award the prizes according to the outstanding commitment and generosity of the nominated mentors, and by the impact they have had on the journey of their mentees. The winners will be announced in January 2011.
History of the Yell awards
Yell teamed up with Horsesmouth in 2008, to provide support and advice to small businesses. They do this through 1-2-1 business mentoring on Horsesmouth; offering a collection of committed Yell staff with a fantastic range of business experience and expertise.
But the Yell Mentoring Works Awards were also established to celebrate and encourages business mentoring across the board, and so every year we showcase the amazing business mentoring on Horsesmouth, giving mentees a chance to say thank you and to show the world that Business Mentoring Works!

If you've tried using search and browsed the profiles on our site but can't find anyone who's quite right for you, send a request for a mentor to the whole community. You'll get some good responses and one or two may turn into mentoring relationships.
