Laid back , imaginative , funny
I'm studying criminology and psychology at the university of Southampton. I live with my parents, one brother and a sister. we are all pretty close, despite are arguments with the tv remote control. lol. I love reading, toys r us, helping people and the student lifestyle.
I have a low self esteem, which i often disguise with jokes and comedy. I also sometimes find it hard to show the real me. However, i am slowly overcoming this.
i get anxiety, which sometimes stops me doing from doing certain things. University and meeting many different people helped me deal with this.
This is what i am studying at the University of Southampton. My dissertation is going to be on domestic violence, which i am currently researching. i have also completed a miniture course on mentoring young students.
i think this kind of mentoring is good because it gives an element of distance. some people may not like talking directly, which oftens means brushing problems under the carpet instead of addressing them. This allows problems to be addressed, perhaps not eradicated but definately helped.
Why not send out a general call for help to everyone
