Led the Government’s £400m enterprise education strategy since July 2003. Remit also includes developing employer partnership with schools.
Born 1956; economics graduate, career education civil servant since 1979. No kids, one cat. Favourite things include: living in Ladywell, London; food and drink, reading, travel, watching rugby, cricket, football (Spurs), and his wife Angela Overington, who ‘does’ policy on the school curriculum.
