Happy , Approachable , Fun-loving
I am a 20 year old Law undergraduate, living with my partner in rural Lancashire. I have worked as an office assistant and in a bar as front of house staff. My interests include the theatre, music, cinematography, literature, fitness, gastronomy and travelling.
Relationships, particularly for young people, are hard to navigate and sometimes people need support in these areas. This can range from family relationships to personal relationships. Support in these areas can range from a sympathetic ear to encouragement to make the right decision in the circumstances. Although I am young myself I have been in two serious relationships and have experience of being in a relationship with someone who has had a serious illness. My parents divorced when I was 14, and I also have experience in welcoming new partners and children into the family.
I am presently co-habiting with my partner and we have been together two years. We met on matchaffinity.com.
I am a young person who has been through school, college and I am now in university. I have experience in deciding a career path, navigating friendships, handling a workload and moving in with housemates for the first time. I would like to mentor on this subject because these issues can seem all encompassing at the time and an objective viewer can often help one realise the issue is not quite as daunting as it initially seems.
I have previously been a mentor to a GCSE student when I was in college and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. My role included helping the student prioritise tasks, make decisions about her personal life as well as act on her behalf when required. The student has since gone on to successfully attain a place at a local college.
