I have worked in social care for many years,I have two children aged 30 and 16yrs and a step son 23yrs I also have a large extended family including 11 nieces and nephews ranging from 17yrs to 29yrs.I am definitely a people person and am able to communicate with people of all ages from all backgrounds.I have vast experience with most of lifes problems and are willing to advise and share. I am non judgemental and not easily shocked or surprised so feel free to talk.

I have experience with many teenagers and have an insight into the sort of problems and peer pressures teenagers face today I feel I could be a good source of information and able to empathise with this age group.

I have been a step parent for many years and have faced most of the problems a step family can face, jealousy rebellion behaviour and resentment.I also have experience of matters of the heart most relationship problems divorce,affairs e.t.c

grieving ,death and illness

having lost many close members of my family and looked after many clients who are dying i have an insight into the feelings and emotions that are felt by people who are losing or have lost a loved one.

I have always had a good rapport with all age groups and people from all backgrounds and feel I have a lot of experience and insight to offer people.I think this is an excellent method of mentoring as writing is very therapeutic and enables people to express their feelings as some people find it hard to voice their feelings or articulate face to face.
