Country girl living in the city. Workwise I've been in PR for 6 years, agency and now in-house. Out of work I'm passionate about art, photography, my flat, and books. I have been known to injure myself on the dance floor. I 've liked my twenties more than my teens and think my thirties will be even better!

Getting into PR
I fell into PR but having now made some kind of career out of it I'm keen to help others who want to do the same. There's more than one route into the industry and there are some easy ways to make yourself more employable.

I work for the Make Your Mark campaign and am passionate about encouraging young people to be enterprising. If you are are in your teens and twenties and need some PR advice to get your new business off the ground then I'd be happy to help!
Why mentor on horsesmouth?
When I worked for a PR agency I mentored quite a few young people, both in skills such as writing and time management and also to help them get the most out of their jobs. Now I've moved in-house to work for the Make Your Mark campaign (www.starttalkingideas.org) which I am very passionate about.
