Bubbly , Entrepreneurial , Driven
I am a University Graduaten London. I have been fortunate to experience many incredible things from a young age having highs and lows which I believe I can share to help and advise others.
I am looking to further myself by becoming a lawyer (studying law part time) and I am currently running my own business and charity.
I live by the adage.. Fail to prepare.. prepare to fail and I hope being a young person, I can help others realise their own awesome potential with a little guidance.
As I have been through school system and university I believe I can help/advise young people with any topics, such as UCAS, balancing work and pleasure, stress, home sickness, Uni life and finance and hopefull will allow others to obtain a smooth tranisition from school to university and then later on into the working world.
I have been lucky enough to represent the UK in an international university business competition called SIFE (Students In Free Enterprise).
I have presented to over 1000 people including CEO'S of companies such as Barclays, HSBC and Mercedes Benz.
I can offer help and advice on getting involved in business socities, developing key transferable skills for work and improving confidence and public speaking.
I am also a member of NACUE. The National Consortium of University Entrepreneurs.
I help foster young entreprenurs and push their business acumen and spirit to new levels.
I am also an advisor for CAB ( Citizens Advice Bureau) and I help advise ordinary people on topics ranging from debt all the way to advise on a new job.
I have volunteered with the Duke of Edinburgh scheme and various other organisations as well as having set up my own charity. I believe I have the knowledge and skills necessary to give advice to young people on the positive benefits volunteering can have and hope it can change your life as well as the lives of others.
I am an outgoing, down to earth, confident person and like to help others. where I can. I volunteering whether it be, climbing a mountain for Charity, or getting my hands dirty, painting a clasroomand I find this gives me a sense of great satisfaction. I can also use my newly developed coaching skills in a non-professional capacity, gaining broader experience. This type of mentoring is a great idea. I believe it is easier to talk to a younger person who understands the pressures and expectations put on us, whether it be A-level Grades or Career aspirations. I think Horsesmouth is a great way to help develop young peoples confidence and motivations and the mentoring scheme is a great way to help anyone prosper in whatever they do in life. I want to be a part of that!
