''Success comes from going from failure to failure without losing enthusiasm''

Today was A level results day for many 18 year olds across the country, myself being one of them. I was fairly happy with my results, although I did expect a little higher, and for a little while, I felt a bit disappointed with myself. I am sure that all around the country, many people will have been delighted with their results, whilst others unfortunately saw themselves as failures.
But, at the end of the day, results are not the be all and end all, and although a plan may change for somebody, it does not necessarily mean the person is a failure or something has failed. It simply mean's an unexpected change.

Winston Churchill once said that success comes from going from failure to failure without losing enthusiasm. What a great quote. Whether it be exam results, losing a sports match, not getting a job you wanted...anything! sometimes we all feel like we failed, but the point is, do not let it make you feel down. Sometimes life throws things at you that you do not expect, but the ideal thing to do is is to be brave and throw something back at life, and be stronger, and successful.

At the end of the day, the only type of failure is giving up, and I think that is something we should never do. Life is all about taking shots. You miss a hundred percent of the shots you don't take, so the point is, whatever happens, enjoy life and do something that makes you happy and feel like you have achieved! :)

I am very lucky to have found your website. Recently I wrote about a problem which I face very often.... There were 10 responses from 10 mentors. They have really explained to me and made me understand that I do not have any problem. Your services are wonderful and I am very much thankful to all of you.

I have been mentoring on HM for 18 months. I really enjoy it & hopefully I am helping other people. Recently I posted my my first 'request for a mentor'. I have been completely bowled over by the response. So many people taking their time & making the effort to offer constructive advice in a friendly polite manner. For me it completely validates the intent behind HM. It reminds me how many good, helpful people there are out there. Thanks for providing such a great service.
