I have developed this new product that I intend to start pitching shortly to retailers. I am not sure how many retailers will be interested and what quantities they will be ordering so it is difficult for me to forecast the capital the I need to start my business. I was wondering, if it is acceptable to ask retailers to pay down payment towards each order and if yes how much,, is it 50%-90%? In not then how can I forecast a budget and find an investor?
