I currently work in Finance and also deal with preparing the monthly payroll so have a little involvement with HR. I now have the opportunity to do a 1 year course Diploma CIPD in HR Practice which will be partly funded by my employer. The only problem is I''m not sure whether I want to commit to the course and studying as although I enjoy elements of HR I''m not sure if I''d want to go into this area solely. Can anyone give me some advice please on what it is like to work in HR, etc? Not sure what direction to go in! Many thanks!
