I am 42 years old......I met someone online and fell head over heels in love with him...I adored him....he was 24 caring, loving, compassionate, wonderful, loved me, was in love with me, respectful, gentle, everything I could have ever wanted in a man. I left an unhappy 14 year marriage for him. I talked to this person for 3 and half months...The day i was supposed to meet him, I got a text saying he was a she...I was devastated...am still devastated. Lost, lonely, betrayed, hurt...who do I let go of someone that never existed...please don''t tell me to try with her. I did..couldn''t base a relationship on lies....Destroyed
