I have moved from spain leaving a house that will not sell. My ex partner lives in tax free dubai with his filipino wife, who we met when he was still supposed to be my partner. Until recently he paid half the mortgage on the house in spain but now refuses to, and wants the house repossessed. I''ve told him that if the bank sells the house, there is no guarantee they will cover the mortgage and they will still come after us for the payments (house is 50/50). He doesnt care but I want to try and continue the payments in the hope the house sells and I get some money back out of the property as it will be the only money I have to my name.
